Saturn Retro 2025: 18: Divisional Magic

Today's my 18th post on Saturn Retrograde 2025. In contrast with my earlier volcanic, apocalyptic posts, in today's post, I get to celebrate the truly Retrogressive and Retrograde quality of Saturn Retro season.
After many comments and sharing ideas with fellow astrologer Eshan Sen on Instagram Threads, we finally came on call and did a mutual reading of each other's horoscopes. The first thing that struck me was that he had Rahu Mars in 10th, and Venus Saturn in 6th, EXACTLY like Darshan, a young astrologer whom I had regularly connected in my visits to hometown Guwahati. He had the SAME brilliant acumen, insight, analytical ability, sharpness that allowed him/ them to foray into completely esoteric, ethereal, and unconventional realms of astrological analysis.

Whereas, in Darshan's case, his methodology, was a completely ALTERNATIVE perspective on the most regular horoscopes, a system which I haven't been able to fathom, in Eshan's case, his methodology was strictly Vedic, BUT which forayed into the complex, fine, esoteric realms of Vedic astrology, and in this case, the realm of the..Divisional Charts!!

In Vedic astrology, the Divisional charts, D9 Navamsa, D10 Dashamsa, and so on, and so forth uptil D60, Shashtiamsa, represented, a single Rashi/ Zodiac being divided into parts/ degrees/ sectors like the name suggested. D9, divides 30°, of a single zodiac into 9 divisions of 3°20', ie, 3 degrees and twenty minutes. D10, Dashmasha, divides 30°, of a single zodiac into 10 divisions of 3°, ie, 3 degrees. D60, Shastiamsa, divided 30°, of a single zodiac into 60 divisions of 3 1/2 °, ie, 1/2 of a degree!!!

I have always used D9 in relationship considerations, and D10 in career aspects in my horoscope analysis regularly. But never had I forayed into the oceanic, karmic depths of these divisional charts πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

And since divisional charts require such precision in birth timing, it's always better to be left to an expert in this specialized field who understood WHICH DIVISIONAL CHART CARRIED The EXACT Karmic Footprint !! WHICH ONE TO SELECT FOR RELEVANT ANALYSISπŸ”₯πŸ”₯ Eshan started our conversation, intuitively from Akshavedamsha, D45, where 30° of a rashi, zodiac was divided into 45 divisons!! Do the math πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯!!
Above is my D45 chart, and Eshan jumped to the tenth house where you see a cluster chaos of four malefic planets in Pisces, forming an Asphyxiating karmic knot! He said as an opening dialogue.. " You're gifted.. But challenged ". Which has been a dominant theme in my life from SCHOOLDAYS itself!

I remember school teachers calling my parents, on my bad days.. " Your son is extremely gifted, but so challenged.. ". A dominant them, haunting spirit, which has relentlessly pursuit me across my life, now, into this gray haired age!! For an astrologer to pick out a SINGLE Divisional chart amongst AT LEAST 20 OTHERS, to expose the most Dominant theme of ones life, and to define it with a clear phase, is what I believe is the hallmark of a truly gifted astrologer. He could have begun anywhere D1, D9, even the all conclusive D60, revealing summation of our Karmic accounts.

BUT no, he started and focussed on D45. Especially focussing on some INHERITED karma from my father's side of family. Why was this so spectacular and relevant to me?? BECAUSEπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ‘‡πŸΌ

12 years before I used to more Vaastu work, and the odd interiors project, heralding my gradual crossing over. But then I had come across my then spiritual Guide Energy Healer D Roy Karmakar, who had divined through his powers, that there was Tantric practitioner in my fathers side of family, who passed away before completing his rituals, and resolving things. And I was an energy incarnation of that ancestor, taking birth to resolve his various incomplete energy processes.

Later on research I did find, that my paternal grandmothers father, ie, my dad's mum's dad, was indeed a great Kali Sadhak, priest, who was famous. He used to walk from far away to do ceremonial poojas for the Jorhat theatre. Also during the great earthquake of the 60s, even as houses crumbled, the river changed course, submerging the then capital city of Dibrugarh, his pooja remained undisturbed. Even his ghat, copper vessel containing water during pooja remained undisturbed, in hometown Jorhat.

I've performed many tarpan, shanti, energy clearing, catharsis rituals since then. And even became a full time astrologer. But somewhere, never had the exact astrological visual picture justifying this karmic precondition lurking in my roots.

With Eshan's diagnosis, I could finally have the exact CT scan, lab report of a condition which had festered me for long. Now, with the lab report in hand, the manifold remedial measures could be aligned/ focussed on the karmic imbalance at hand.

Like my spiritual guide used to say.. Identification of the problem was 75% of the remedy. Today, this adage was finally proved true. In fact, that this revelation came so close to Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna, already aligned me with the remedies and measures to be undertaken on that day. .

Conclusion: the astrologer giving the rightful remedy is but a medium of the Lord above, choosing the vehicle to deliver our karmic resolution, and liberation.. at the appropriate time!!
